The Cleo Auld class is composed of members who range from 18 to 80 years
old. They use the Bible for class study. This class shares
love and outreach as a close family.
Men's Bible Class:
The Men's Bible Class is much like a traditional Bible class found in most
churches. The class is taught by a rotating staff of lay teachers
and uses the International Lesson Series. Ages range from the
mid-forties and up. This class is very fellowship minded and is always
looking for the opportunity to break bread with others.
Miriam Wheeler Class:
The Miriam Wheeler class is made up of adults ranging in age from thirty to
fifty plus. They share social time and coffee from 9:45 to 10:00
at which time they begin their lesson. Come and join us!
Charles Smith Class:
The Charles Smith class consists of couples, singles, widows, and widowers
covering a wide range of ages. The materials vary with the interest of
the class. The Charles Smith Class volunteer in community holiday
projects. Visitors and new members of any age are welcome.
Men's Study Class:
The Men's Study Class consists of men ranging from 30-60 years of age.
The focus is Bible study, covering one chapter a week. Verses are
discussed and applied to our lives to gain a better understanding of God's
word.
Seeker's Class:
The Seeker's Class is composed of singles and couples who range in age from
mid 20's to mid 40's. A common sense approach combined with a sharp wit
makes for an interactive class.
Ladies' Bible Class:
The Ladies' Bible Class is composed of both single and married ladies
covering a wide range of ages. Christian studies include contemporary
literature and International Studies.
Mae Ragan Class:
The Mae Ragan Class is made up of "young at heart" ladies age 65
and up. This class studies the Bible as their main text.
Teenie Rountree Class:
The Teenie Rountree Class is made up of a group of ladies who like to
think of their table as a place as warm and friendly as the kitchen table.
They use the Adult Bible Studies for a guide to informal discussions.
Evelyn Edwards Class:
The Evelyn Edwards Class consists of adult ladies. They use the Adult
Bible Studies for their lessons. They share good fellowship, some trips,
and many get togethers.
Methodism Class:
Frequently, the Pastor leads a short term during the Sunday School hour
exploring Methodist beliefs and heritage. While this course is
especially helpful to people new to Methodism, it is also a good learning
experience for lifetime United Methodists.
New Beginnings Class:
This class is comprised of single and married young adults who use
different materials to apply the Bible to everyday Christian growth and
understanding. Also, they like to get together outside of the class. This
class meets in Room #8.
Friends Together Class:
If Elvis and the Beatles were part of your teenage years. If you enjoy
lively and thought-provoking discussions on Christian study then you belong
with us in Room 22.
Chi Alpha Class:
The Chi Alpha Sunday School
Class will start May 13 studying the book of Revelation. This will be a study
for 22 weeks. Anyone who does not have a Sunday School Class is welcome to
join them in the Small Dining Room.
